I am Cat. This is what my husband and almost all our friends call me. You can call me that too. It's a nickname with a story.

I'm Leo Sun/Capricorn Rising—also a story in itself. Some days I'm more Capricorn than Leo, hence the choice of my HubPages handle.

I'm no longer a Twitter Virgin (grin).

I've been a professional performer with degrees in theatre and dance, as well as a college professor of performance, for a handful of decades now, so you might see some hubs on those subjects scattered here and there among my creative work in these pages.

Been writing ever since I could hold a pencil and blogging ever since I taught myself to code pages back in grad school. Just moved with my new husband to the coast of North Carolina, and exploring ways to make my passion for writing work for me on a number of levels.

Been alive a good enough while to feel I might have something to say, so here I am. Hope you enjoy my meanderings! ◊

THE SOCAL YEARS
